Winnipeg, MN is Jamie's personal music and photography project. It focuses on the fusion of acoustic, environmental and synthesised sound to a create a warm, yet experimental, kind of music. The project makes use of children percussive instruments, field recordings and honesty within personal narrative. It aims to create intimate experience through song, providing a window into some of the most personal emotions and moments. All intentionally recorded in Jamie's home, you can occasionally hear the sounds of the birds in the garden, his flatmates muffled talking and the boiler firing up. This is about honesty, not obscuring the self or recording environment through highly polished, commercial production.
